Jacob Rose Moth is a gifted composer/musician whose compositions are a unique blend of many styles of music masterfully intertwined with each other. He is equally comfortable in rock, electronica, sound design, orchestral and groove oriented music (to name but a few) and pulls together elements of all of these genres to create his own unique musical voice.
Hummie Mann, dec 2006
Jacob Moth is a very promising young composer. After some years’ practical experience, I am certain he will wind up in the international champions’ league. His compositions are personal and masterly executed in every detail. When I listen to his music, I am transported to a voluptuous cascade of scenic worlds, from ancient to modern times, from epical nature to the urban jungle and cyberspace. On my visits to Jacob Moth’s top-professional studio, I have always been impressed by the inspirational, creative atmosphere and his technical skill.

Having been fortunate to have worked very closely with Jacob Moth as a composer on a couple of film projects, from underground to a mainstream movie, I have got to know his musical talents and personality very well. Jacob is an outstanding musical artist who has dedication and burning passion to his craft; he is a joy to work with on a professional level and also very friendly to co-operate with, as a close colleague. His music capacity is vast and great, with all his experience working in a variety of music bands, performing live concerts and exploring life around him over the many years, it shows in his work that he knows his music very well and has very good instincts on projects.Whether it’s coming up with creative ideas, solutions or when asked to make changes, as a composer he is dignified and gets the job done and exceeds expectations. When handed a project, the project is the goal and he gives it his best in time, effort and skill, and can be trusted to do it very well. I would very highly recommend Jacob as an original, creative composer and musician. Sincerely,
David Noel Bourke. Writer, Director, Producer, january 2007
Jacob’s scores and other music are an exciting mix of styles and feelings from all over the world. With regard to the form, two components are very clear to me when I listen to it: a classical lyrical-melodic material that is never conventional, and a harmonic-rhythmic universe that for its genre is highly original. I have followed Jacob’s development for six years. In this time, he has repeatedly proved his extraordinary talent for composing music that insists on holding its listener captive and forcing him (this at least applies to myself) to attempt to decipher it.
